POTW - 2024 Week 1

CONGRATULATIONS to this Week's Eastern Nebraska Baseball League Players of the Week.

Senior Player of the Week

Kyle Oldehoeft (ETC Knights - Mount Michael) threw a perfect game against Louisville/Weeping Water, going 5 innings with 56 pitches. He retired all 15 batters he faced, striking out 7. A remarkable performance that helped secure the win for the ETC Knights. 

Junior Player of the Week

Peyton DeMello (Syracuse Post 100) had a strong week both at the plate and on the mound. In 3 games, he batted .500 with a double, a triple, and 3 RBIs. On the mound, he pitched 6.2 innings over 2 starts, going 2-0 with 13 strikeouts, 5 walks, and a 1.05 ERA. DeMello also contributed to the Senior team.
